Door County Orchards and Farm Markets
Door County has a history of cherry growing that dates back to the 1800s. Today, the county boasts around 2,000 acres of cherry orchards and another 500 acres of apple orchards. In spring, the county is filled with blossoms, and is richly decorated with delicious fruits in the late summer and fall. Take a tour of the orchards, then stop by one of the many farmers’ markets to take some of the county’s finest produce home with you. Visit our Cherry Site for all things cherries!
