This charming slice of Door County history is nestled at the entrance to Peninsula State Park where you can enjoy hiking, biking, or a swim in Green Bay. Dating back to 1906, this quaint farmhouse offers a rustic retreat for up to 6 guests, with 1 bedrooms, 1 loft, 1 bathroom, and a sun porch. We love our family dogs and welcome yours too! Your well-behaved dogs are allowed with prior approval. This property allows up to 2 dogs, with a maximum weight of 50 lbs per dog. There is a fee of $50 per dog/ per night, collected separately and approximately one week before your check-in date. Located on a quiet dead-end road, you'll find peace and tranquility just steps away from the park's natural beauty. The Farmhouse boasts original hardwood flooring, wood beam ceilings, a gas stove, and a distinctive "Dutch" style back door, evoking a sense of old-world charm. Connected by a closed off breezeway is the “Silo Guest House,” a one of a kind converted silo offering amazing views. (Check out our other listing to rent both units for larger groups.)

Guests will enjoy all the modern comforts including an updated and stocked kitchen, Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, as well as an office space. Outside, guests will enjoy sitting around the firepit or relaxing on the patio. A propane grill, patio table, chairs and a shared picnic table are provided as well. Situated in the heart of Fish Creek and within walking distance of downtown with endless shopping and dining options, your Door County adventure awaits at the Fish Creek Farmhouse.

*This property is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, or other rowdy gatherings.

*Important property notes:
There is no central air conditioning in this property. One window A/C unit is in the living room. Both bedrooms contain ceiling fans. Additionally, two portable fans are provided.
No washer or dryer provided
The water for this property is serviced by a well. It is recommended you bring drinking water if you have any concerns with this system.

Provided:
• Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
• We provide a starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap and garbage bags. We do not provide facial tissue.
• We supply one each of travel size shampoo, conditioner and bodywash per full bathroom.
• Due to health and safety guidelines made by the health department, all pantry items must be removed between guests. Please bring cooking essentials you might need such as cooking oil/spray, salt, pepper and other spices, sugar, etc.

Surrounding Area:
Situated in the heart of Fish Creek, you'll have easy access to a plethora of shopping and dining options. Explore the town's quaint streets, take a bike ride through the park, or tee off at one of the nearby golf courses. Bike rentals are available within walking distance as well. Several of our favorites include Julie's Cafe (in walking distance), Alexander's (steak and seafood), Bayside Tavern, and the Fish Creek Market (a boutique mercantile for food and drink, within walking distance).
