1. Hit the beach
Thanks to a multi-million dollar expansion and enhancement, this is one of the county's most popular beaches for swimming, sunbathing, and paddling from the shore. Also a great sunset spot!
2. Hit the links
Egg Harbor is home to four golf courses, covering all skill levels. The Alpine offers the oldest, most historic course, while Stonehedge is great for new golfers. The Orchards is a top course among the cherry trees, and Horseshoe Bay Golf Club is the considered the peak of Door County golf.
3. Take a scenic drive, run, or bike ride
Admire the shoreline homes on Whitecliff Road, then head south as the bluff nears the shore and on to Horseshoe Bay Farms as you near Murphy Park.
4. Shop
Visit dozens of unique shops selling everything from apparel, outdoor gear, and footwear to gifts, books, art and crafts, artisan jewelry, and way, way more.
5. Get a history lesson
Admire one of the oldest homes in Northern Door at Cupola House, take a step back in time at the Alpine Resort (Door County’s oldest resort, it dates to 1922), get haunted at Shipwrecked Brewpub, or check out Chief Oshkosh’s old trading post and amphitheater.
