Midsömmar offers an array of traditional apothecary fare ~ tinctures, elixirs, oxymels, shrubs, liniments, hydrosols, herbal honeys and teas, including herbal home medicine chest basics. We have all sorts of herbal ingredients for craft cocktail concocting, both for boozy beverages and NOLO (no & low alcohol.) You’ll also find curated tea-making tools, garden and foraging baskets, beeswax candles, folk art, wildcrafted herb bundles & hand-crafted brooms. We are a generational lineage of herbalists and apothecaries, and emphasize our European ancestral herbal traditions and, more specifically, focus on Nordic herbalism and practices that reflect the strong Scandinavian heritage of our family and Door County community. We prioritize Great Lakes bioregional medicinal herbs in our work, and source locally cultivated and abundant, ethically foraged plants when possible. We provide Minute Clinic consults for single issues or how-to-start with herbal support, and complete consultations are arranged by appointment.
