Destination Door County To Aid In Finding Alternate Lodging for Rowleys Bay Guests

September 7, 2023. Door County, WI -  Rowleys Bay Resort and Destination Door County are working together to help find alternate lodging arrangements for guests that had upcoming lodging reservations at the resort on Rowleys Bay in northern Door County. Due to the extent of damage from a devastating fire at the historic property on Tuesday September 5, 2023, Rowleys Bay Resort, Grandma’s Swedish Bakery, Rowley’s Pub, and Rowleys Bay Restaurant are closed and unable to accept guests for the foreseeable future.

Rowleys Bay Resort staff are in the process of contacting guests that had upcoming reservations to coordinate refunds and Destination Door County staff are available to help them find alternate lodging for their upcoming stay in Door County. Any guest that had a reservation at Rowleys Bay Resort is encouraged to call Destination Door County at 920-743-4456 or email info@doorcounty.com for personal assistance with finding new lodging arrangements for their upcoming stay in Door County.

Destination Door County (DDC) is also helping coordinate a list of area lodging properties that have available rooms that can accommodate those who had lodging reservations at Rowleys Bay Resort. Door County innkeepers and lodging property owners are encouraged to call DDC at 920-743-4456 or email info@doorcounty.com to share room availability details with DDC staff.
