Experience winter beauty at Newport State Park! Ski, hike or showshoe a 1.2-mile wooded trail lit with glowing candlelight. The trail starts at the Picnic Area parking lot. As the end of the trail, participants will find the shelter building complete with an outdoor bonfire, fireplace to warm up by, and refreshments. Grills will be available for anyone who wishes to bring along the makings for a picnic supper or marshmallow roast.?
